Craig Thrupp is a company executive and entrepreneur with nearly 20 years’ experience working in security and risk management in the Asia-Pacific region.
Craig founded Paladin in 2007 on the philosophy of providing community engagement-led security and risk management services to support projects in challenging locations. The business has now grown to more than 4,500 staff and has operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, PNG and Timor-Leste.
Craig began his career in the Australian Defence Force where he spent seven years in the infantry serving in the 3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (Para) and later 9th Battalion Royal Queensland Regiment. Craig finished his time in the Army with the rank of Corporal. During his service, he participated in training exercises in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, and was involved in security operations overseas in Timor-Leste.
He honed his business development and project management skills over a range of contracts throughout the Asia-Pacific, which began with a number of successfully delivered projects in Timor-Leste.
Craig loves the outdoors and is passionate about sports and environmental causes, which he always seeks to support.
