There has always been a shortfall of wheelchairs in Papua New Guinea and recently, more so than ever, in Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH). With an ongoing need for medical supplies Paladin generously donated 13 wheelchairs to PMGH late in 2019.

This donation has been a “valuable asset to the hospital” says Sr Hosea from PMGH, “as budgets have been cut for additional medical supplies.”

Hosea added “These are much-needed medical tools that will be widely used within our hospital.”

Paladin have been operating within PNG since early 2007 and have been regularly supporting local initiatives like the wheelchair donation to PMGH.

These donations are in alignment with our commitment to leaving a variety of lasting legacy for the communities in the regions where we operate.
