Paladin Managing Director David Saul and Operations Manager Tony Ely met with Manus Provincial Police Commander, Chief Inspector David Yapu today to discuss some of the key security challenges facing the community.

Following the meeting, David Saul commented, “We had a very constructive engagement with the Royal PNG Constabulary where we briefed the Provincial Police Commander on our community security model and discussed how we could best work together to strengthen community relations on Manus.

“We look forward to continuing to support the police and focus on ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of our staff, the local community and the people in our care,” Saul said.Paladin has been operating on Manus since 2013 where its partnership model is built on the participation, training and mentoring of local staff and landowners to achieve stability and prosperity.
